Happy bluebonnets!

This is one of the cards we made this past Saturday at Memory Depot in the Hello Spring class. I thought the eucalyptus stamp from A Muse would make for a great bluebonnet!  Does it look like bluebonnets to you? Everyone that took the class thought so but what do you think? 

The entire card is covered using the Dazzling Diamonds technique. This technique is one of my most favorites. It's quick and simple and the results are stunning. AND no glitter mess! ;) It's hard to see in the photo but it sparkles a lot!

One last sneak...

And here we are at the end of A*Muse*A*Palooza! I can't believe how fast this week has gone.

This Madeira stamp (left most picture) is part of the new release, as is the inside sentiment "Christmas wishes". I'll be teaching this card today at Stamp Salado. I was trying to get a different look...something a bit more elegant. I like the way it turned out. Do you? The Madeira stamp is inked up in Metallic Gold Ink (Encore). It is very striking on the Swiss Red note cards. I love that ink because it gives the metallic look without having to emboss!  The embellishments are the micro dot Twinkle Stickers from A Muse (TW101).

A*Muse*A*Palooza - Sneak Peek #4 and another Card Sample

Well, yes, I'm all about doing those One Card for Two Reasons type of cards this week, aren't I? I didn't say that word...bytheway!

So, it's time for another A*Muse*A*Palooza sneak and another AP class tonight. Tonight, I'll be here in Austin at Memory Depot teaching a Winter Wonderland class at 7pm. I hope to meet some Addicts there... new and old :) This card sneak will be one of the cards we do tonight.

Although we don't get snow very often (and never enough to sled with), I like this image. Reminds me of my childhood, growing up in Ontario, Canada.... it was cold and snowy there unlike hot and dry here!

A*Muse*A*Palooza - Sneak Peek #3 and Card Sample

Ah, well, my fast and furious A*Muse*A*Palooza week begins today! I'm headed to Stamp Antonio in San Antonio, Texas. I'll be there later today for make and takes and a to teach a class: Glimmer, Twinkle, and Shine. Maybe I'll see you there!

So, my sneak today is actually a card we'll make tonight during the class...

I believe this sentiment is my favorite of the bunch, although it is hard to pick just one. I probably like it because my boys are so young and it's so much fun to BELIEVE!

San Antonio, anyone?

I'll be in San Antonio this weekend teaching 3 A Muse classes! Wanna join me?

The first class is at 10:30am and it's called Think Simple, Think A Muse. We'll be making EIGHT (yes, you heard me... 8!) fun cards in two hours or less!

The second class is at 1:30 and is called "Absolutely A Muse". Here we will make 6 cards using images that make A Muse so special!

Finally, at 4pm, I'll be teaching a "Sparkly Birthdays" class. OOH Sparkles :)!!!

A while back, my dear friend Michelle Clark was on Spring Break. She was a stamping machine and came up with some classes for future use. One was this A Muse Summer Vacation class. The cards for this class are SO fun. I couldn't help but ask her if I could use some of them for my class tomorrow. She very graciously said yes! Thank you Michelle!

Fresh and Fun Class this Saturday!

This Saturday, I'll be at Memory Depot in Austin. I'll be teaching two classes: Sparkly Birthdays in the morning and then Fresh and Fun A Muse style in the afternoon.

I thought I'd share one of the cards we'll be making at the afternoon, Fresh and Fun, class. This class features stamps from the latest releases by A Muse - April and May new stamps!

This card features the new "Mainly Men" clear stamp set.  I *love* this set. I do. It has clean lines.  And perfect images for  "my" men. And some of the women I know, too!

So, back in college I learned  most of my engineering  computer skills on Apple based systems.  And while in my professional life, I was a PC user (and guess I still am), I'll always be a Mac-user at heart.

Stamp Salado Elzybells Class this Sunday!

Another card from the It's A Girl Thing class

I'm teaching my first ever during the week class on Friday morning. It's another session of the "It's a Girl Thing" class that I taught this past Saturday. It will be at Memory Depot on Friday from 10am-12pm. Please call the store if you're interested! (326-8045)

Here is another sample from the class... it's using my new Fiskars Threading Water Punch... OOOHHHH I love that thing!

I'm so used to teaching technique classes (twice a month, every month for the past three years with Stampin' Up!) that I decided to show a couple of different techniques in this class. The ladies loved it on Saturday! Thanks ladies!

We're branching out to use some of the new clear sets from A Muse at this class too. The copies that were reserved for the Saturday classes were snatched up!
